Google has made the most important service for users absolutely
free.
Internet giant Google has announced that its most popular
app will be available to users for free.
In a blog released by Google, the company announced that from May
1, certain users will be able to use the Google Meet 'video conferencing' app
for absolutely free, for which they will only need a Gmail account.
Earlier, users had to pay a monthly fee of 6 dollars to use the
app, but after the Corona lockdown, Google made the service completely free,
keeping in mind the increasing video conferencing.
The blog states that Google users can download the app from the
website, Android or iOS Store. With the Met app, more than 100 users will be
able to talk on video conferencing simultaneously.
Google said that in the first phase, users will be provided with
the Meet application absolutely free of charge and will be notified via email
to create their own ID.
On the other hand, Google has also announced that the service has
been made absolutely free for the subscribers till September 30. The users
using the premium service can add up to 250 people to the video conference call
at the same time.
According to Google, users using a free account will be able to use
the app for 60 minutes, the service will be implemented only after September
30.
It is to be noted that after the Corona Lockdown, various companies
have issued instructions to their employees to work from home, after which the
demand for the Zoom app has increased tremendously conducting online classes.
