Boxer Aamir Khan delivered rations to 1,500 deserving families in Lyari
Aamir Khan, a British boxer of Pakistani origin, provided
rations to 1,500 deserving families in Lyari, an ancient area of Karachi.
International boxer Aamir Khan continues to distribute rations to deserving
people in Pakistan while he has provided rations to 1,500 deserving families in
Lyari, an ancient area of Karachi, with the help of national boxer Nader
Baloch.
Former world champion Aamir Khan says that Lyari is a
stronghold of boxing. The people of Lyari love sports especially boxing.
Providing rations to the deserving is an expression of my love for Lyari.
12,000 ration bags have been distributed in Pakistan. , 60,000 deserving people
will benefit.
It may be recalled that relief rations have been delivered
to Aamir Academy in Islamabad where rations were packed after which rations
will be delivered to 5,000 deserving families by Aamir Khan Academy.
5,000 basic food items will be handed over to the Pakistan
Army. Flour, pulses, ghee and basic necessities have been included in the
relief bags. The rations will be distributed to remote and deserving families
in the country. It should be noted that the situation of corona virus in
Pakistan is deteriorating day by day and with more cases, the total number of
victims has reached 10,513 while the death toll has risen to 222.
While the virus has infected more than 185 countries and
killed more than 183,000 people so far, it is spreading rapidly in Pakistan.
Although the spread of the virus in Pakistan was not so rapid from the onset of
the virus on February 26 to March 31, the global pandemic has accelerated in
the month of April and is affecting hundreds of people daily. The rate is also
rising.
