The news agency says hackers have targeted Wuhan's biosafety center, while the World Health Organization says 450 emails from its employees have been hacked and shared online.

The leaked emails include those from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Bank and the National Institutes of Health, the report said.

The report does not say where the hackers came from. The hackers have so far been said to be aimed at harassing employees of organizations and obtaining sensitive information about the corona virus, as part of a conspiracy theory against the epidemic. The Wuhan Institute of Virology is affiliated with the Chinese Academy of Sciences, which runs the country's only Level 4 biosafety laboratory. The laboratory conducts highly pathogenic research and confirmed the corona virus at the same laboratory late last year. There are various reports regarding this laboratory that the corona virus was deliberately removed from this laboratory.
